At the second China International Import Expo, Heraeus showcased cutting-edge innovative technologies and advanced materials. The electromagnetic shielding technology for 5G communications attracted much attention. Its printed electronics project launched a system that can directly attach materials for shielding electromagnetic interference on components. Composed of special silver inks and others, it can ensure high-frequency on-board chip data transmission, save costs and material input, and the shielding function is reliable. It also showcased clevios™hye, a hybrid conductive polymer for foldable display touchscreens. Made of conductive polymers and silver nanowires, it can achieve a small bending radius and stable conductivity. The film coated with this can be bent at least 300,000 times within a radius of 1mm and is suitable for many fields.
Heraeus and SigmaSense jointly developed a groundbreaking full-featured 65-inch PEDOT polymer touch sensor.
In 2020, Heraeus and SigmaSense, a pioneer in high-performance touch sensors, jointly developed a full-featured 65-inch PEDOT polymer touch sensor. The sensor adopts the SigmaDrive touch controller and has excellent optical clarity, reliable flexibility and low cost. It brings changes to the touch sensor market and creates conditions for economical interactive displays of various sizes, including displays larger than 100 inches.
